SERVICE UPDATE 12/3/2020.

Our commitment to the health and safety of our technicians and customers continues. Pioneer Heating & Cooling will be observing all Massachusetts safety guidelines while working in your home.

At this time we are offering all service, maintenance and new equipment installation. Our technicians will be dispatched between 8am-5pm Monday-Friday and Saturdays 8am-12pm. Emergency service with extended hours has resumed for the winter months. We are also resuming in person sales consultations as well as continuing to offer no contact virtual sales estimates! We look forward to serving your needs this winter!

At Pioneer Heating & Cooling safety and service are our top priorities. During this time of the spread of Covid-19 we are working diligently to amplify safety precautions regarding transmission. We will be taking all necessary precautions in all aspects of our work. Read below to see how we are working to keep you safe.

Our Office:

Steve and Linda are on site at our office daily to schedule appointments and help answer any questions. He will also be processing phone payments. We are always available for non urgent questions or scheduling by e-mail at info@pioneerhvac.com. All of our group staff meetings are taking place in small group settings outdoors. We are taking every possible measure to ensure safety. Although our office remains closed to the public, we have a drop box at the door and any drop off or pick up arrangements can be made by calling our office. Thank you for your patience and understanding!

Service Team:

Our service team will come to your home wearing a mask/face covering. They may also be wearing gloves and shoe covers. They will continue to limit/omit face to face interactions. When face to face conversations are necessary we are asking homeowners to also wear a face covering and stay at a safe distance while conversing. We are asking that all payments be made by calling our office whenever possible. Our technicians are equipped with cleaners to sanitize their work space and tools. They may take the liberty to clean high contact surfaces in your home that they need to touch frequently such as doorknobs and thermostats. If you have ANY sensitivity to cleaners please advise our office before the technician is in your home. We may kindly ask you to delay your service as we cannot guarantee we would not need to use chemical disinfectants.

***All staff that performs work with the public is receiving a daily temperature check as an added measure of precaution. This includes Service, Maintenance and Installation technicians.

Maintenance:

Our maintenance crew is out in field getting heating systems ready for winter! All maintenance staff will be wearing a mask/face covering and gloves. The technician may ask you to participate by opening up the work space or adjusting your thermostat after our tune-up to minimize the time they need to spend in your living space. We are asking that payment be made by calling our office whenever possible. Similar to service we may find it necessary to use chemical disinfectants in your home. Thank you for your help and understanding as we all work to be safe and healthy!

Installation:

Our installation team is available to work at commercial and residential sites. They work on site in masks/face coverings and will often be wearing gloves. At commercial sites we are ensuring distancing is possible when other contractors are working at the same time. While working at your home all installation technicians will be minimizing face to face interactions. As discussions may be necessary with an ongoing job, we ask that all homeowners wear a face covering at that time and remain distanced when speaking, preferably in an outdoor space. Because new equipment installation typically takes longer than service (days in some cases) we may ask you to take additional steps like opening up bulkheads and hatchways before our arrival for better ventilation and fewer touch sites. If we are installing a unit inside a living space in your home we may request opening windows and limiting the number of people coming in and out of that room at the time of work (for a bedroom or living room). If you have any questions about how our technicians work in your home we encourage you to call our office and discuss this. Often, these types of jobs can be done with minimal interaction and minimal time spent in your actual living space.

Sales/Estimates:

We are excited to resume in home consultations! In addition we will continue to offer virtual sales consultations and estimates! We will meet with you via Zoom or Facetime at your convenience to provide an accurate estimate of the work you would like done! This allows everyone to exchange accurate information, ask relevant questions all while remaining safely at home. If you would like to schedule a free consultation please call or e-mail our office!

We are asking ALL of our customers to do their part and if you feel sick, feverish or have been aroud people with confirmed or suspected illness, PLEASE INFORM OUR OFFICE BEFORE THE TECHNICIAN ARRIVES AT YOUR HOME. We will be screening all of our new appointments with these questions as they are scheduled.
